Thalès Consult S.A. was founded and is headed by Pierre Baucher

Born 25th May 1966, in Uccle. Nationality: Belgian.
Degree in Management Sciences (formerly “Ingénieur de Gestion”) (Solvay Business School - ULB, 1989).  


1989 – 1991: Assistant at Solvay Business School (ULB) in Accounting and Finance.  

1991 – 1997: Bank Degroof as Financial Control manager (development of the Management Information System) then as Senior Representative in the Investment Banking department (Mergers and Acquisitions, IPO’s, Public Offers, Studies and Advice).  

1997 – 2001: Corporate Finance Manager of the Umicore Group (formerly Union Minière) in charge of corporate finance operations in the group: structuring, negotiation, evaluation of acquisition, transfer, restructuring dossiers and problems linked to the structure of Umicore’s shareholders.
Supervision of the Investor Relations Manager.
Director in Group subsidiaries.  

In 2001, creation of Thalès Consult S.A. and structuring of the Management Buy-Out of the Chanic Group (formerly Générale de Belgique), investment sold in 2009.

Since 2001, creation of GoNext S.A. and of investment funds Latitude S.A. and B&B Internation S.A. .

Thalès Consult S.A. acts as a Managing Director of iPstore / Internation Pneus S.A. and of the holdings B&B Internation S.A. and Latitude S.A. and as President of the Board of GoNext S.A. (Belgium).

Thalès Consult is also director of Magnitude S.A. and of Sauermann Industrie (France).  

Moreover Thalès Consult acts as an independent director at the board of Ovizio Imaging Systems S.A. (Belgium), a spin-off of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
